HM3 Energy one of eight nationwide to receive grant from US Endowment for Forestry and Communities

Gresham, Ore. – The U.S. Endowment for Forestry and Communities has awarded $241,000 to HM3 Energy for pilot plant operation and key commercial scale equipment design and fabrication. The pilot plant produces torrefied biomass pellets which can be used as a clean energy alternative to coal in coal-fired power plants...

HM3 Energy Awarded $90,000 Phase I USDA SBIR Grant

Gresham, Ore. – A project proposed by HM3 Energy has been awarded a $90,000 grant from the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA), United States Department of Agriculture. The USDA Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) award will fund HM3 Energy’s project entitled “Forest Waste Contaminant Removal for Conversion into Clean Fuel for Coal-fired Power Plants"...
